Riding Car Cars Lesson

Andrew William's father was quite happy to allow his son to park his car in the garage whenever he got round to buying one The garage would need to be tidied it up first however so that it would comfortably take a second car.

He was pleased that Andrew was taking his driving instruction seriously even although he wasn't too keen on him having his own car. Despite this, he decided to research car insurance groups as he knew that as a young new driver Andrew's initial insurance premiums would be high.

As expected Andrew passed his theory test and the day of his practical exam drew near. His father, although he would not admit it to Andrew, wondered if he would pass today's driving exam theory test. When he sat his driving exam he was only asked a few questions on the highway code at the end of the test. There was no such thing as a separate theory test then. Things were a good bit tougher these days. He knew that he would also have difficulty passing the practical exam today without the help of supplementary driving instruction. Consequently he was pleased that his driving test was a distant memory. What he did remember though was the shock he received when obtaining insurance quotes for his first car. He had wished that he had paid more attention to the issue of insurance groups before buying it. This made him all the more determined to research insurance groups for Andrew.

The day of Andrew's practical exam arrived and his father wished him good luck as he left for an hour of driving instruction immediately prior to his test.

When Andrew returned in a state of great excitement, having passed, his father reminded him that he had promised to clear out the garage and there was a skip sitting at the end of the driveway. Andrew complained that he hadn't even got round to looking for a car of his own so there was plenty of time but his father insisted saying that the skip hire cost was calculated on a daily basis.

Reluctantly, Andrew began clearing out the garage and had almost finished when a gleaming new car driven by his father pulled up in the driveway. "I hope you have finished clearing the garage" his father said with a huge grin on his face. "Otherwise there will be no room to put your new car in it"
