Riding Car Cars Lesson

I had to do a story once on female driving instructors and it is a story that I will never forget. All the men had to write on female driving instructors and the women had to write on insurance. It was not fair at all to us men. Men knew more about insurance than taking a driving test. I remember so well what some of the men wrote.

They like having female driving instructors because they were harder on you than the male ones. Some thought we learned more by having a female. Some thought that females were easier to understand when teaching the class. I myself didn’t care as long as I could pass my bike test in getting a license. I can tell you I feel that the female driving instructors do know more about a bike and what to study for a test.

Now keep in mind that is my opinion but my reasons are they taught you to respect a car, a bike, a truck, no matter what you were driving, you were taught to respect it. She drilled on the cost of a car, how much insurance would be, and we also went through a driving test on the computer. I will have to admit that was fun, especially when you felt you were behind the steering wheel of a real car.

When a light was flashing on the left, we had to put on the left turn signal, and we had to do the same way with the right. When we saw a red light, we had to stop. If we saw a yellow cone, we had to stop and back up in the parking space that was provided for us.

I remember some female driving instructors had come into the classroom and started talking to our instructor. We had no idea of what was being said, but I remember afterwards we all had to go outside and take turns driving for each instructor. Anything that we touched like a cone, a brick, a bike, even a person, we got points deducted off of our score sheet.

I will have to say that was an experience in itself. I still wonder to this day if female driving instructors are better than male driving instructors, but I guess I will have to leave that decision to the next class being we heard they are going to follow what we did. Should be an interesting day for the next class, and hope they have as much fun as I did in that class.
